At CLJ Photography, we specialize in crafting timeless, elegant maternity and newborn portraits that celebrate this fleeting moment in your life. We take a limited number of bookings each month to provide an exclusive, personalized experience for each client.

The Luxury Portrait Experience begins with couture gowns and expert styling and ends with museum-quality artwork. Every session is designed to create heirloom portraits that will be cherished for generations. We help you create generational wealth.

The Luxury Portrait Experience

Initial Call with the Studio

To book a session, schedule a call with our Scheduling Manager. Finding the right photography is similar to finding the right doctor. Our studio’s mission is to capture your strength and femininity through timeless works of art. A non-refundable Session Fee will be paid during booking.

Gown Fitting or Design Call

Maternity clients will be scheduled for a gown fitting before your session. Feel free to bring your mother, sister, or spouse as you pick out the perfect gowns. For Newborn clients, we will set up a call to go over the style of your shoot. We may ask for inspiration images, images of the nursery and your home to understand your style.

The Maternity Experience

Understanding exactly how to pose each body type in the most flattering way takes time and is carefully perfected. We have a large selection of wardrobe options including sheer silks, flowing dresses and fitted gowns to accentuate your body. The Maternity Portrait Experience continues with hair styling and make-up.

The Newborn Experience

Cydnee’s extensive experience and continual education in this field makes her one of the top newborn photographers in the Dallas area.

The studio has a calm, warm environment and Cydnee will photograph your little one until the best images are taken. The perfect age for newborns is 7-14 days old. They still have that magically womb-like flexibility for the images you want. Please contact our studio in your second trimester to ensure availability.

Artistic Editing and Displaying your Art

Your shoot is only the beginning of creating these memories. After your shoot, we will show you a proof gallery and help you choose your best images. Once you decide what you would like to purchase, we will get started on retouching. We spend an extensive amount of time fully retouching your images. We offer a “Magazine Style” edit on all your purchased images. Digital images and products are not included in your Session Fee. You will be able to choose and purchased the images you love during the Portrait Reveal.
