Baby Girl Surrounded by Flowers – Newborn Photo Shoot – Dallas Newborn Photographer – CLJ Photography
It is so important to discuss style and design with your photographer before your newborn’s photo shoot. For this baby girl, we discussed whites, creams and soft, girly tones and textures.
But why is it important to have this discussion with your photographer? Can’t you just hire someone and then, simply, show up??
Let’s start with the perfect name for your little one. This is a big deal – one of the bigger decisions you’ll make for another human. You want your baby’s name to belong, to fit into your family. The name needs to mean something to you. For example, it might be a family name.
It takes a lot of thought.
How about the nursery? The nursery might match your child’s name or maybe it flows with the design of your home. The nursery is the place your child will sleep, the place your child will know and understand is HOME. Is safe and happy. Everything placed in that nursery is a tiny bit of love you are showing your unborn child.
Your newborn portraits are the same! You put so much thought into creating the perfect place for your baby to fit into then it makes sense that the first photo shoot should also take more thought.
They need to match your home, the nursery, your style. They need to speak to you and fit into the story you have made for your little baby. A brightly colored pink and purple will not fit into a soft-toned nursery. An organic, earthy portrait will not fit into super girly, glittery, pink room. All in all, just have the conversation. And make sure when you book a photographer that they will create the images you want.
We would love to design newborn portraits just for you and your baby. We want to get to know you and hear what your envision. It’s a portrait process that we believe in. If you would love to learn more about our newborn service, then click the button below to receive details.
