Every little baby has their own personality. Even at a week old, you can see little glimpses of who they might become. This sweet baby boy was wide awake for a good portion of his session. He didn’t want to miss a thing, and sometimes, it makes for the best images. He was pretty calm and happy, but SO curious what was going on.
Every baby I work with, and it’s been hundreds, are all so different. Some babies fuss and some babies go right to sleep. It seems lately they’ve all been bright-eyed. I’ve learned a lot about handling and soothing a little baby. But keep in mind, I’m creating, essentially, a living piece of art and one that may or may not want to cooperate. Don’t stress. Our sessions don’t have a time limit and we can even reschedule if you need.
Luckily, this little guy was such a champ and finally dropped off to sleep. We got the best of both worlds – awake and asleep.
