A New York City Maternity Shoot – What a Difference a Year Makes
A New York City Maternity Shoot would be a dream at this point. Literally. It is incredibly sad to see how the virus has affected this city. As a tribute to #NYCStrong, we are posting this blog/shoot from almost exactly a year ago.
There is a certain awe you feel walking through the streets of New York City. The old brick buildings tower around you and the city is always bustling. From hip, local shops to upscale hotels and restaurants, the city offers an unforgettable experience for anyone. And Central Park offers the same experience. Walking from a huge city, towers, traffic and people across the street into this green escape is really a beautiful contrast. It is remarkably quiet and feels immediately peaceful. Families let their kids and dogs run. It is one fo the most popular parks in the world – one could spend the whole day roaming the beautiful area.
This gorgeous Momma and Influencer, Allie from @healthyalibi, mentioned the cherry blossoms in the park as a location option and it sounded perfect for our NYC shoot.
We are holding hands across the nation, for our own communities and for other cities. As we begin to come out of quarantine, and as we might still be in quarantine, let’s give thanks for the lives spared, the people who have fought it and those that are helping others. We can all be #NYCStrong!
