Calvin Klein and Maternity Trends – Dallas Maternity Photographer – CLJ Photography
In the 90s, it was hard to escape the Calvin Klein ads. They were everywhere. They sparked controversy, provoked and pushed the envelope but they also became a leading trend for the generation.
Maternity Photography has gone through many trends in the last ten years. It really grew momentum only five years ago. And very recently, the 90s Calvin Klein undies is making its comeback.
I have been very inspired recently with this new trend. I find myself moving our large client wardrobe aside and suggesting jeans, white tank tops, simplicity to the style and of course, bring those Calvin Kleins if you’ve got them!
It was an honor photographing Sasha of BusyBeingSasha. Sasha has gone through infertility and has shared her journey with her followers on instagram and her blog. Join in her story on her blog:
The gratitude that I feel right now is hard to explain. All of this feels so surreal. WE’RE PREGNANT WITH OUR RAINBOW BABY!

Of course, we still love the glam, the gowns, and the silks. Inspiration for every pregnancy shoot comes from both the artist and the client. A collaboration of ideas and vision. Simply put, giving the client a beautiful, modern, sophisticated portrait is our ultimate goal.
We would love to photograph your pregnancy and help create your legacy. CLJ Photography caters to expecting couples looking for a better experience from a photographer. Click the button below and let’s begin your story.

She is such a gorgeous momma. Did she come up with the idea to wear Calvin Klein for her maternity session or did you? She absolutely rocks this simple look. I love it. Beautiful photography.
I send all my clients inspiration board before our sessions. I have been dreaming of photographing this trend so definitely had a bunch in there for her to get a feel for what I had in mind for her. She loved them all! So when I sent her prep information, it included the Calvin Klein set and knew exactly what to expect.
