I am Groot – Adding Unique Elements to Every Baby Photo Shoot – Newborn Photographer Dallas – CLJ Photography

I’ve mentioned before that my style, as a photographer, is clean and timeless. 95% of times, that rings true. I stay true to my style as an artist. But often, a client will request a certain set-up or themed portrait. As a commissioned portrait artist, I do my best to accommodate my client, creating the best image we can.

My advice if you have a specific image in mind, a specific set-up. Going into photo shoot, it is always best to discuss your vision ahead of time so your photographer can plan for your image. This client had discussed the idea for the Groot image well ahead of time so creating it was much better and easier.

I am Groot.

The image turned out amazing! We loved it and it was the perfect image my clients were hoping for. He was their little Groot. The image made the cover of their keepsake box.

My third baby (who’s now 3!) was our Chalupa Batman. (Don’t ask me why…lol!) so there’s this hint of remembrance when I look at this image. A kindred feeling.

The second requested image was with the American Flag. We swaddled the little man first to protect him from the prop edges but also to respect the nature of the flag. It was beautiful to create and meaningful to my client.

The rest of the images were very much my style of portrait. Most clients come to me for my style and quality. And they turned out beautifully.
