Texas Bluebonnet Pregnancy Photo Shoot – Dallas Maternity Photographer – CLJ Photography
Once a year the Texas fields turn blue. The Texas Bluebonnet is magical. They creep up from the south, turning the hillsides and roadways into a fairytale. The Bluebonnets are a magnificent, vibrant blue and this year the blooms were ah-MAZING!
They only last about 3 weeks. Once they start to bloom, there is an anxiety in the air – will the weather cooperate? When will the be at their best? Should we wait or schedule? The short time frame crunches nearly all Texas photographers. We wait for this every year with a lot of anticipation!
This gorgeous field is only about 10 minutes from our studios. The light is perfect in the evening and the wind caught this Momma’s hair beautifully as she stood among the flowers.
The bluebonnets have all gone for this year – if you plan your next pregnancy right, I’ll see you next April!
