We Love Our Dallas Cowboys! – Dallas Maternity Photo Shoot – The Babymoon Photographer – Part 3
Our last (but certainly not least) highlighted expecting couple is Dallas Cowboy is Jameill Showers and Chelsea Showers.
Dallas Cowboy – Jameill Showers and his wife, Chelsea.
I have been so lucky to have worked with these athletes and their families. They are some of the most kind and welcoming people – Jameill and Chelsea are no exception. They are amazing people. This energy comes across in their portraits. They have such a beautiful ease with each other and with me, as their photographer. It is so important to build on that relationship with my clients so I can photograph you in the best way.
We asked Chelsea about her last 9 months and her fresh moments in motherhood.
Question: What inspired you to have maternity pics taken?
Answer: Being pregnant is so special. I wanted to make sure to capture all the moments, so one day I’ll have something to look back on to remember all the little things – especially the last moments of just ‘us’ with my husband and what my bump looked like!
Question: What has been the best part of being pregnant?
Answer: The best part of being pregnant has definitely been the excuse to wear leggings every day, my skin (clearest it’s ever been), and the pampering from my husband!
Question: What do you think raising a baby in the spotlight will be like?
Answer: I don’t really feel like we are in the spotlight; however, in this industry, that could change in one second. We will cross that bridge when/if the time comes.
Question: How does your husband get involved?
Answer: He is super involved and absolutely loves being a dad. I am pumping, so he is able to feed her a few times a day! Jameill is the best burper, so even when I feed her, I have him burp her. He has also changed significantly more diapers than me. He may not admit it, but I think he secretly likes it! Jameill has been the biggest help – from making sure I am comfortable, to helping during the night, to making sure my pump supplies and her bottles are clean. Millie and I are so lucky to have him!
Thank you so much to Chelsea and Jameill for sharing these moments with us. I admire kind people very much and this little family is completely genuine. They are just good people. And this can be a hard quality to have, especially when you have more eyes on you than most.
Every couple that comes in front of my camera have different dynamics. With Chelsea and Jameill, we took a simple, beautiful style to capture their pregnancy journey and it complimented their love so very well! It needed nothing fancy to draw that feeling and emotion from them.
So, will The Babymoon Photographer become the unofficial “Dallas Cowboys Maternity Photographer”?? (LOL!)
Only time will tell but I will say, it will be an honor to photograph them…and any woman who has a story to tell. A gift to offer. A quality worth sharing.
