COVID-19, Pregnancy and The Future – Dallas Maternity Photographer
The newly changing landscape of our lives.
This can be a hard time for a new mother. I can’t even imagine.
“My mom and mother-in law are also so important to me and I want them there. I had their support and help when I gave birth to my daughter. It’s [was] comforting having them on such beautiful experience and to think that might not be happening [with this baby] breaks my heart.”

“All of this is really scary but I feel we should follow what is asked of us… I have faith that things will get better and very soon all of this will be over.”

It’s hard for me as a mother of 3.
It’s important, in times like this, to pay attention to the good and to have faith, like Diana. (Follow Diana on Instagram!)
While the house is certainly louder, it’s also warmer. COVID is bringing family together. (Or forcing us to be together! LOL!)
I get an extra spring break with my kids, when they can’t go to friends’ houses or school. The family time has been amazing!
We’re safe and cuddled up – watching movies every evening. No soccer, baseball, football or gymnastics. No running around or worrying about the anxiety-inducing rigmarole. The dogs couldn’t be happier that we are all home with them all day.
Docket for today: Edit, then play with kiddos. Then edit some more, make lunch, play with kiddos, edit. They go to sleep, and my husband and I are spending some time together too. It’s kind of like a date night every night.
The world will keep turning and, thankfully none of us, in my family, are high risk.
I know some of you aren’t in the circumstance I’m in.
Those who are higher risk or needing medical attention. Know that I am unendingly compassionate for your circumstance!
Some of you will have to re-schedule shoots, baby showers and extracurriculars. This is tougher on us than it may sound – but keep in mind, I’m with you!
“I really wanted to experience all that all over again. Especially now that I’m having a boy. I wanted to do everything like I did with my daughter from planning to the decorations and setting everything up, I love doing all of that.”

Diana: even if your circumstances are less than ideal, try to take advantage of every chance to smile and Prayer will always see you through.
