Nude Maternity Photo Shoot – Do it for the 80 year old you – Frisco Maternity Photographer

Although Nude and Implied Nude Maternity portraits are becoming more mainstream, there are still women who are nervous to “bare it all”. We are all self conscious about our bodies, trust me, we ALL are. I certainly want each woman to feel comfortable and confident in my studio.

Have you ever seen a picture of your grandparent as a young adult? I have. I have several of my grandparents actually, photographed beautifully, in their best clothing and hair done just so. I knew my grandparents (while they were alive) as they were – grandparents. Wrinkled, old, gray – kind and loving – but still old. And I LOVE my photographs of my young grandparents. It is this little insight into their lives at my age! I see them differently. I “get” them a little bit more.

I challenge women to be courageous and brave in their own portraits. Because one day, the older YOU can share these portraits with your grandkids and show them how amazing and gorgeous you were! You can show your granddaughter’s to embrace their bodies and appearance. What a beautiful way to connect with your posterity years in the future!

Something to think about if you are thinking about being photographed nude while pregnant…

Talk to your photographer about what you are comfortable showing! Maybe you want to have silk covering some of you or maybe you would rather have on a bra and undies. But you also have to TRUST your photographer. I’ve been posing pregnant women for so long – if you are going to be naked in front of anyone’s camera – you can rest assured I’ve got your back.

You might feel silly and wonder if everything is hanging out on you. But then you’ll see them and fall in love with yourself and what your body is doing. You’ll wish you didn’t choose so many gowns and spent more time naked!
