In a studio setting, one of the best tools for a photographer is professional lighting. Playing with light to create a mood is something I really love! The light can be controlled, bent and moved. Open light creates a beautiful bright and airy portrait. Darker light and shadows dives into the moody and emotional.
But really what gown was your favorite on this gorgeous Momma?!? She chose three vibrant maternity gowns from our client wardrobe. Gown number 1 – her name is Seraphina. She is one of my favorite gowns because she is like butter to wear and fits every body type! How amazing is the Seraphina on her?!?
Or this yellow! I can never pick a favorite. (Do you see the difference between the light with the red dress and the light with the yellow? The yellow gown was shot in a little moodier light.)
The yellow gown is Emma. She is sweet, softer but still full of energy and life. I love this gown paired with this light. The lace detail is so perfect and because the bottom is not fitted, a choice many women find their are drawn to.
And then there was the teal gown…one of my first gowns to add to the closet. Her name is Krysten. I fell in love with this color probably two years back. She started it all. I had purchased a couple gowns before her but when she came in, I knew I needed more!
